Dire Straits und Momos

Namaste!
We're back in civilisation:-) ok, es waren nur knapp 24 std in den bergen above pokhara (at the coffeefarm of bishow bantu) but es hat sich angefühlt wie eine andere welt...very basic, very rural, very relaxed but still very nepali (man sitzt irgendwo stundenlang rum, ohne dat irgendwas passiert...obwohl wat passieren sollte...oh, you come today? i forgot! i have important meeting and doctor is not available anyway,so you can come my meeting and look...jaaaaahhhh...naja, nepali style eben...komm ich heut nich, komm ich morgen...same same...) auf jeden fall haben wir nach einem eher seeeeeeehr zähen tag gestern, heute ne schule und dat health post angeschaut (mit eben jenem bishow bantu, seines zeichens organic coffeefarmer und rather fluent in english!!!!!nice!!!!) check ze bigtschörs!!! hört sich alles gut an, but again, it is nepal, so we do not know what will be the outcome....kann SO sein, kann aber auch gaaanz anders sein....big meeting on sunday....jajajaja...with important people....jajajaja....permission...jajajaja....naja, ma kucken,wa?! :-))))) you have to adopt the nepali state of mind here!!! otherwise you are going nuts....
heut abend war dining out angesagt and it was veeeery nice! momos (laut rolf, resembling roughly schwäbische maultaschen (a.k.a. swabian mouthbags)....well...als amtlicher schwobaseggl sag i do jetzt a mol nix zua ("em läba net"a.k.a. im leben nicht) )lang it so guat wia dahoim) ;-)))...dumplings ("doigdäscha" a.k.a. teigtaschen) filled with veggies...sooo yummy! and meike had a very nice veg. indian curry dish!!!!hmmmm....you wondering about our usual dhaal bhat routine? well, dat gab es natürlich bei bishow...und zwar morgens und abends und mit frischer (!) kuhmilch....veeeery nice!!!!! across ze street zere was "live music"...zats vat zey kall it....vi in tschörmanieh kall it karaoke mit 5 halbe im hals und brezel im gsicht :-))))) "jouar sofa aweiii frumm mi" oder etwas doch " your sofa awaits (for) (sic!) me !"....no way of knowing for surrrrre my mate! zat is ze nepall my dihr...guarantee? certainty? plan? schedule? no such thing...
morgen schaune wir uns jetzt ne andere arbeitsmöglichkeit an...kam völlig unerwartet, klingt aber besser als alles andere!!!! we'll see...no expectations on our side....nepali state of mind...ma kucken!
